Tourism Plan / Covid-19 Recovery Strategy

Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is the main government
body that regulates tourism in Dubai. It plans the strategic sector direction, overview
the performance, and licensing tourism services. DTCM promotes Dubai
internationally to the end of operating 20 offices worldwide. The Mission Dubai
sponsors is of “strengthening Dubai’s economy by attracting tourists and inward
investment”.
The vision of making Dubai the world’s leading tourism destination and commercial
hub is the goal which doesn’t go unnoticed by the success of Dubai. Reaching to
global tourist is another vision. Dubai wants to change the image from preconceived
notions and create a worthwhile experience for their Tourists of all kind.
There are several initiatives that are infrastructure development, product offering
enhancement and destination marketing investments to make Dubai tourism the
“First Choice” for international leisure and business travel.

Dubai tourism target is to attract 21 million -23 million visitors by 2022 and 23 Million
to 25 million visitors by 2025. This would make Dubai the most visited city in the
world.
THE COVID 19 STRATERGY
DTCM wants to open Dubai to new source marketing. The strategy focuses on
sustainable, digitally native and experiential tourism. Increasing new hotels and
airport capacity to showcase increased margins for hoteliers and airport influx both
by Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC).


Dubai is promoting itself by the most influential actors in promotion and marketing
sector which are expanded to regional and global economic sides.
Dubai is ambitious of becoming the most visited city in the world.
